Sue Reynolds who most of you knew, passed away on the 20th January of this year aged just 51.

Sue Reynolds who most of you knew, passed away on the 20th January of this year aged just 51. Sue leaves behind 4 children Bianca 29, Camron 27, Dwayne 21 and Rio, 16. Sue’s unfortunate passing has left her two younger boys with no accommodation moving forward. Sue’s daughter Bianca and her partner Reece are endeavoring to undertake the care of the rest of the family and need to extend their home in order to provide additional space.

As John Roach, Eton Manor’s Club Secretary mentioned at Sue’s Funeral; a few of the groundsman at Eton Manor have been and still continue to volunteer to help her family with this creating of much needed accommodation. We have had the plans drawn up, and we are now looking for volunteers in the following areas: Most urgent is a Quantity Surveyor, so if you are a ‘QS’ and can spare some time to help, then please get in touch with one of the team named below who will pass your details on to the working groups. We also need assistance with other trades. So if you have time over the next few weeks/months that will be great. We will be looking for tradesman and laborers, but would like to get as many people involved as possible in order to spread the work. Even if you can only spare a day, it would help enormously. We are hoping the work will start around Easter. We will be contacting local building firms for assistance with materials, so if you are a building firm
with left over products or if you know of anyone who would like to help, please do let us know. Please see below a list of the tradesmen and materials needed so far…
Finally, the volunteer working groups are doing a super job and are offering their time for free, but we do need funding to source materials. John Roach has set up a funding page and the link is here.

Can we please ask you to dig deep. Sue was one of us and served the club and our kids for many years. Please show what being a part of the Eton Manor family is all about by offering either your time or money, or both where you can. Just giving page

PS: There is also a small working group needed for some garden clearance and ground works this
February Half Term if some senior/ youth / colt members could assist. Lifts can be arranged, the house is located in Chelmsford. Contacts are below: - We have a generic email which is EtonManor4Sue@gmail.com
