New kit supplier for 2022/23 Season

The Executive regrets to advise that our club kit supplier, Dream Sport Ltd, have gone into administration, severing our ability to acquire UA Team wear.

We are grateful for the swift work of our DOR, Mark Farrell, in securing a new kit supplier in record time.

The new deal is on more advantageous terms commercially and includes sponsorship to the tune of £1,500 for our Sevens tournament.

From the 2022/23 Season we are delighted to announce our new kit supplier will be rugby brand legend Canterbury of New Zealand, owned by global brands powerhouse Pentland Brands Ltd, in conjunction with ADM Leisurewear Ltd.

This situation is beyond our control, whilst we regret the sudden change, the committee has secured further guarantees and is confident that the new agreement will give us a far better supply chain, easier access and more importantly a far quicker delivery than before. With most of its manufacturing based in UK, Canterbury products will be carried in stock within our new web shop. We will publish the team wear lead times once we have them finalised.

Please note
Other than the change of brand, there will be no changes to the design of our playing kit. Existing kit can be worn next season as we transition to the new brand. We will provide full details of how to access the new online club shop in due course.

As always, please feel free to ask any questions directly by email or to any of our committee members.

Finally, I look forward to seeing as many of you as possible at our inaugural rugby sevens competition, organised by Club Triple Centurion Nick Horton. Details at https://tinyurl.com/EMRFC7s
