After last weeks hard fought 11-27 away win in monsoon conditions at Norwich, Eton Manor RFC are back on the road this week to the Essex County Capital, Chelmsford RFC. This weeks fixture could be a case of Groundhog Day with Chelmsford's infamous slopping pitch and clay soil, its never an easy place to go, but with 1XV players back available this week, Manor will be looking to push onto 4 straight wins.

Its a big week for London & SE, Regional 2 - Anglia league fixtures as top placed Brentwood host third placed HAC at home.

Last Saturday saw Eton Manor's second string 1928s play out a below average performance, but still managed to score 4 tries, securing a Bonus Point home win against Southend 2XV, pushing this team into an impressive 3rd spot in Herts Counties Division 1.

This week they are on the M11 up to National One club Bishops Stortford, to play their 2XV in round 6.

We also saw Eton Manors third string Development XV continue to progress well in Essex Merit Division 2, making light work of second placed (& previously undefeated) Thames RFC, scoring 6 tries on their way to a thumping 36-3 Win. This side has now won 6/6 league fixtures, scoring an incredible 239 points for and just 10 against.

This week our Dev XV travel the short journey to East London RFC 2XV.
