Eton Manor RFC welcome Regional 2 - Anglia new boys Braintree RFC to Nutter Lane in round two of our 2025/26 league campaign. There is a very nice pre match 3 course lunch arranged, produced by our partners over at The Hitchcock Hotel and we also have our annual 1XV Shirt presentation, where the players who earned the first selection of the season are awarded their shirts.

Head Coaches Michael Sargent and Jess Liston are also looking forward to welcoming three new overseas players to the club this week, with the arrival of Scrum Half Thor Crombie from NZ, Full Back Jayden Smith and Back Row Jack Edwards both from Australia. All three players have just finished their seasons in Australia, where Jayden Smith was a part of the 1st Grade New South Wales Cup winning team. Our Senior Mens section have arranged a Poolside Party for Saturday night, which I am sure will help our new players settle in!

Pre Match Lunch starts at 12.00 - 12.15

We also see our Development XV start their Essex Merit Division 2 league campaign this Saturday with a short journey over to Woodford club Bancroft RFC. Our development XV is full of our next generation 1XV & 1928s players mixed with a few older heads to help them along.
