Our 1XV welcome Norfolk based Holt RFC in round four of this seasons London Division Regional 2 -Anglia. Holt RFC have had a difficult start to their league campaign, currently sitting at 10th place in the league table. That said, Head Coaches Liston & Sargent will not be taking this or any fixture lightly. With several more players becoming available for selection this week, our head coaches will be able to select from a near full squad.

This season has seen both our training nights regularly exceed over 50 players; with well planned, high energy sessions, good precision & excellent execution, our entire Men's squad is showing the commitment levels required for league success.

Whilst our 1XV are hosting Holt RFC, our 1928s finally get to start their new RFU league campaign. After several years of trying, our second string (1928s) finally gained access into RFU league structure through Hertfordshire County who voted lower team entry in 2024. Our 1928s have been placed into Herts County 1 ( Level 7) along with five other 1XV from established Rugby clubs and some heavy hitting Nat 1 & Nat 2 2XVs. No doubt it will be a very difficult league campaign for the boys, but to have competitive, consistent season long fixtures is an absolute must for our club if we are to achieve our aims of becoming a stronger Rugby club. Anyone in Rugby would tell you, the strength of any 1XV lies in its 2XV.

Our Saturday starts with our Development squad at home to Millwall 2XV in round two of this seasons Essex Merit Division 2. Our future 1XV Manor players, supported by some of our legendary stalwart older players won their opening fixture against Bancroft RFC, also managing to take their first 1XV scalp of the season in doing so!
