Eton Manor RFC will welcome Essex club Rochford RFC to Nutter Lane on 11 April in their final London & SE Regional 2 Anglia fixture of the season. It's a simple equation, a win will see them crowned as League Champions and gain automatic promotion to London & SE Division Regional 1 (level 5) for next season.
The team started on this journey back in June 2025 when they started their pre season, ten weeks of hard graft & some new players added to the squad, the team played 4 pre season fixtures, winning three and drawing one. The early part of the league campaign saw us gain solid wins against difficult opposition, including a desperate defensive win away to Brentwood in game 3. A narrow loss at home to HAC in game 6 was the only blotch on the campaign through to Christmas, which included a run of 7 consecutive Wins. The new year saw Manor's 1XV continue to chalk up league wins, again a last minute loss to HAC away from home in late January became our second loss of the campaign, but with two vital Bonus Points added, Eton Manor kept its place on top of the league, the finish line was now firmly in sight! A further five wins through Feb & March have led our 1XV & our club to where it is now, just one Win away from achieving something it never has, to gain promotion to level 5 as league Champions.

On the same day our undefeated Development XV will also be playing their last Essex Merit Division 2 league fixture at Nutter Lane against local club Bancroft RFC. Our third string side of younger prospect players & battle hardened older players has already secured its place as League Champions, but now their focus has changed as it looks to become 2025/26 Invincible's with 18/18 Wins the target.

Manors 1928's are away to Hertfordshire club Welwyn RFC and will be looking to secure 4th place in Herts Counties Division One in their first season of RFU Rugby. This would be a remarkable achievement for the boys who have chalked up an impressive eight Wins to date including five wins against 1XV's.
