The only coaching change to this season has seen Michael Sargent (Sitchy) join Jesse Liston as our new joint head coaches, the rest of our senior men's coaching team remains the same. Loose head prop, George Cosma, will lead the side out as our 1stXV captain for his second year at the helm.
We began our pre season training schedule back on 22nd June, with greater fitness levels our main priority, our senior men's squad has worked incredibly hard over the Summer months. Competently driven by our strength and conditioning coach, Ryan Soloman, our pre season has yet again been very well constructed and attended throughout. This years squad has responded even better than last year with our training numbers constantly around 40-50 participants for both our evening sessions, much higher fitness levels achieved and we are very pleased to report an intake of 14 new players to our senior ranks!
We welcome all our new players to the club!
Our coaching team are excited by what they see on the training ground, impressed with the new fitness levels attained and have been working hard throughout pre season with the squad to strengthen our game play, improving our systems and match strategies.
As we begin our new season, the clubs support is needed, Please get yourselves along to as many fixtures as you can, your support is our extra player and when our 1928 Stands and pitch side are at capacity, there is nothing quite like it to help push the boys on!
We have a few places left for our Season Opener Dinner which is a three course Thai Menu at £25.00per person, this dinner is also when our starting 1stXV are presented with their Manor shirts.
