On 16th August Eton Manor RFC begin their home pre season fixture schedule with the now traditional Tri Fest Saturday. This season sees two rival clubs with level 5 status that both play in RFU London & SE Divisions. From Regional 2 South East we have Kent Club Sidcup RFC who finished last season with a very credible 3rd place and from Regional 2 Thames we have Middlesex based Club Belsize Park RFC, who again finished 3rd in their respective league campaign last season, both sides are strong contenders within their current leagues and will provide stern tests for this seasons Eton Manor 1XV & 1928's.

Both Kick Off times are at 2.30pm

Last week saw Eton Manor travel away to Regional 2SE Club Brighton RFC in the first of this years pre season fixtures. Manor took a large squad of mixed ability players and despite going behind to two early Brighton tries, took hold of the game through our very dominant forward pack, scoring 4 tries to earn a solid 26-26 draw. Ex Manor Colt Luca Minns bagged himself 3 very well taken tries, second row Fraser Kitchen raced in from 22M & our newest arrival from NZ, fly half Cam Burgess slotted over 3 conversions on debut.

Head Coaches Liston & Sargent took plenty of positives from the game & still have several key players to add into our mix.

The boys stayed overnight in Brighton and enjoyed one or two beers at a few local establishments & pleased to report everyone got home safely on Sunday.
