The first fixture of the new season saw Eton Manor U12s hosting a fixture against old rivals Chingford. The introduction of a No. 8 is the only significant change as far as team setup is concerned Henry Horne and Max Hayes stepped up to the job excellently. The main body of the pakc, Ross, Che, Pierre, Nye, Bwalya,Eddie, and Luke worked tirelessly in the set and loose to secure and provide plenty of ball to backs who rewarded this hard graft with go forward and super finishing. The link between the two was provided by Ale and Harry at scrum half and william and new player Joel at fly half. we even manged to convert the majority of the tries scored!
A very successful mornings work which bodes well for the coming seaso. Lets keep our feet on the ground and our hands on the ball and lets ee where the season takes us. Thanks again to Chingford for providing a fine opposition and we wish them well in their season too.
