The Eton Manor Women played the first of two pre-season friendlies on Sunday 18th August, securing a hard-fought but impressive victory against a very strong Blackheath side. Our impressive girls' pipeline was in evidence again with many of the team having grown up playing rugby at Manor. Tries came thick and fast with the first half showing both sides off well in periods of dominance. It was Manor who ran away with the victory in an action-packed game despite the sweltering conditions. Try scorers Tahnika (3) Simbi (2) Lauren, Amy, Maddie A, Nansai and Peggy, with conversions from Lauren, Lily and Peggy.
