First cup match of the season

A hard cup match was expected against a strong Westcliff team that did well in the recent Brentwood festival . By half time the game was 42-0 to EM! A flawless goal kicking display by Will white and great defence a particular highlight. The coaches made changes at half time, and apart from an early score to Westcliff, EM continued to score freely , racking up 5 further tries. The last try by Dylan was the best of the day , with a barnstorming run from in his own 22. Having been tackled 10m out, Dylan got the ball to Nye in support who passed back to Dylan to crash over.

A fitting end to a wonderful display of running rugby and great defence.
