A Physical Day at Dagenham

An excellent day for rugby, finally, on good pitches in the sun!! Eton Manor turned up with a bare 13 due to it being the first weekend of Half Term and full marks to all the boys who played out of position to make the game possible.
a game of four quarters with EM taking the lead on two occasions only to be pegged bak to 3-3. Then EM got their noses in front and finished 6-3 winners. Dagenham have a big, strong side who use this physicallity as part of thier game plan and credit should go to our boys who stuck to their task wel and let their technique win the day.Some fantastic tackling and determined play from all.
Eddie played a full fixture at second row for us for the first time and did not let us down in any way.
Nye Sims steped up into the front row for the first time in a long while in this position and was immense.
Dave searle returned after several weeks away for various reasons and played a fantastic game at full back.
Well done to all the team thugh it was a stand out performance.
