U13 took a trip to Cheshunt for a friendly fixture. the pitches and the weather were perfect for rugby, but unfortunatley it was Cheshunt who played all the rugby in the first half. Manor used the fixture to try a few players in different positions, this left the boys a bit out of shape and disjointed in the first half. Those players playing out of position included Jamie in the second row, Bertie at centre and second row, Max B at centre and full back, Terrell at No8, Kane and Leo in the back row and Darcy completed his first full game at Prop.
After giving the opposition full back two soft tries in the first half, Manor settled down in the second and went on to dominate posession and teritory and eventually scored a well deserved try by the season's top try scorer Terrell. Manor should have gone on to score at least a further two tries but Cheshunt did well to hold them out.
Well done to all the boys particularly those playing out of position!!!
