Manor through to next round

Eton Manor Under Thirteens travelled to Westcliff for asn Essex Cup fixture in beautiful conditions for playing rugby. A squad of 18 made the trip with couple of newer members in the squad playing their second match for the club. Manor started strongly in the first 5 minutes, collecting the ball from the kick off and the restart and making their way up the picth for two early tries. The pattern for the game was set with the Forwards holding their own against bigger opposition and setting up our backs to show some sublime handling to get the ball out wide whenever they could. At half time EM were 5 tries to the good. Just after half time, they added another score . Westcliff gamely fought back and started to show what they could do and bagged two tries of their own thorugh some good Forward play. EM managed to score one more try before the end of the match.
