The under 12s started slowly in this match, with Hackney dominating the breakdown and competing harder for the ball than the Manor but not having anything to show for their hard work in the early stages of the first half. Manors Michael Mcardle then forced his way over for a try against the run of play to give us the lead which seemed to spark us into life.
Oliver Poulter added a classy try soon after great work from the pack to feed the scrum half who darted over in the corner.Alexis Markakis was then held up in the corner preventing him from scoring his first try for the club.
The second half was a different story altogether for the Manor and the boys started to dominate in the forwards giving a great platform for the backs to put pressure on the Hackney defense,Christian Donovan powered his way through almost the whole Hackney side to give the Manor a three try lead.Manor squandered chances to go even further ahead.
With the game opening up Manor started to create space and Jacob Sellek ran from his own half for a great individual try Jacob capped off a fine performance for the Manor with a second try near the end.
