Manor outclassed by a better team
Old Cooperians were the visitors today, a good strong side if last season had taught us anything.
Coops are blessed with a strong pack and very quick athletic backs, they like to win the challenge up front and then move the ball at lightening pace through the hands and rack up big scores.
They achieved both against Manor in the first half and took a healthy lead into half time. The physicality of the game had taken it's toll on Manor and 3 of our sibs were used up by the break.
Pride was called for at half time and a much much better second half left some positives to take into next week.
Coops are, in my opinion, the best side in this Division and should earn promotion come the final reckoning. We look forward to travelling to their place later in the year when we are a more stable unit and giving a better showing of ourselves.
A massive 60 point improvement on the score card from last week though!!
