The Club process for registering a player to either play up or down is as follows:
Step 1.
The Lead Coach or nominated person of the Age Group that the player is current part of is to complete the following registration form:

++ Age Grade Playing Up or Down Registration Form++

The Club Youth Chair and Club Safeguarding team will receive a notification email regarding the Registration Form.

Step 2.
The Lead Coach of the players Age Group will be sent an Endorsement Form that they are required to complete and return to the email address shown on the Endorsement Form.
The Club Youth Chair and Club Safeguarding team will receive a notification email regarding the Registration Form.

Step 3.
A Club Coach holding a Level 2/ERCA qualification will be appointed as an “Assessor” to carry out the required assessment of the player and complete an ‘Assessment Form.
For U17 Players, being assessed to ‘play up’ nominated coaches have already been nominated/assigned this task.
This form is to be returned to the email address shown on the Assessment Form.
The Club Youth Chair and Club Safeguarding team will receive a notification email regarding the Registration Form.

Step 4.
The Youth Chair will complete the appropriate RFU Online Smart Form and attach the Endorsement and Assessment Forms and any other supporting material(s) and submit everything to our CB, Essex RFU.

Step 5.
Notification will be sent to Eton Manor, whether the player has the approval to play up to Adult rugby or play up or play down to the requested Age Group.
The Club Youth Chair will notify the Lead Coach/Team Administrator of the result.
